I try to bike a few times a week. Saves me a couple bucks on gas, no need for a cup of coffee, and I laugh at all the people stuck in MI construction traffic. But I enjoy driving, especially with the windows rolled down and some good music on.

I totally agree as well. I was talking to someone the other day actually about Lamborghinis, yes they may be cool, but they're not beautiful. They're just crazy and look like a jet fighter. Plus, I feel like the Carrera GT isnt owned by a bunch of rich dbags like rappers etc which gives it that bit of purity compared

sign me up, ill take one of those!

Yea it's really important to find someone good in NY so you don't get denied inspection for dumb shit like that. I got denied for wiper blades one time, I think i know if i have bad wipers. Never went there again.

Yea, I will agree with you there. Anyone you talk to especially about the GP's is love it or hate it. My friends dad has one of the next gen ones with over 300k on it, and all he's done is normal maintenance.

I have to disagree. At one point, my father, sister and I all had GT's and we all loved them. I had mine for 4 years, and the only reason i got rid of it was cuz at 170k the tranny was starting to slip. I miss my Pontiac, it was a great car.

I'm new to the VW scene, but having mine for 7 months and driving between NY, MI, and IL, I have zero complaints. Everyone says they have a million problems and parts are crazy expensive. I looked through the maintenance records and some of the parts for the VW are cheaper than parts for the Pontiac I used to own.

This happened with a friend of mine. His mom bought a brand new Subaru Forrester, and it was the exact same issue, and they told her the same thing.

Yea especially the Fords. The body hasnt changed in years, they just keep making the front more gaudy and dumb. It's supposed to be all "tonka" and "tough" but it just looks like a cartoon.

Idk about all the comercial stuff, but I think from a design standpoint, theyre the best looking. Chevy and fords and just slab sided and pretty boring. Agreed, too much chrome, but the surfaces are sophisticated and pretty nice.

Works the same at car dealerships too. I was a detailer at a dealership/bodyshop in high school. There was a huge empty parking lot in the back where the auction cars would sit, and if a nice car came in, everyone from mechanics to body guys to us detailers took turns hooning it in the back. More so with cars that we

I'd like something like a rabbit pickup to be made again. If I could have something that was fun to drive and got good gas mileage but had an open cargo area that'd be great.

See, I tried to rent a truck from Home Depot and because i had a Visa debit/check card and not an actual credit card I couldn't... Thought that was weird.

YES! Love this.

I know my friends and I watched that very first one so many times. It was pretty impressive, plus the sound of a boxer engine is o so beautiful. We would put it on just to listen to it.

Unless you're somehow lucky enough to become Camillo Pardo. All he does is party with supermodels and paint the car he was a lead designer on haha. But for the rest of us mortals, it sucks.

Yea this happens all too often. Work on something new and awesome, just to be told that they're gonna use a parts bin part. Or, cost reduction is a fun project too. "design this different, it costs us too much money to produce"

Yea its def shitty out there, there were 5 people in my class, one has a FT job. 3 of us have internships going on right now, and 1 has absolutely nothing. But I def know what you mean about not being able to put things on hold to go back to school. I'm gonna keep looking as this internship ends in about 2 months, but

O no shit thats cool. Yea school def takes your soul, as well ass any penny you had, or dreamed of having in the future haha. The re location does suck. I came from NY, I'm in detroit now, and had an internship in Chicago. Though, I've made some great friends and had a lot of fun, I still like where im from and miss
