He's not the only one.
He's not the only one.
Seriously, developers. Can you quit with the obnoxious over-the-shoulder camera view, or at least give me an option to center my character?
One of the bigger reasons Steam never got such a backlash was because there was NO used game market for PC games anymore.
In other words, they are waiting for someone else to do it first.
Is anyone else bothered to by the character running on the left side side of the screen? It always throw off my balance when I'm not directly behind the character.
I just wish it wasn't on the Xbox, and that the combat speed was speed up a bit. It reminds me of some PS1 RPG's, taking upward to 30 seconds just to start the fight.
I'm talking about XII and XIII. At least in XII the AI script is controlled by you, but that doesn't make it any more fun or tactical. About halfway through the game I was able to put my controller down and watch the fights take place instead of actually doing anything.
I'm all for evolving the battle mechanics of Final Fantasy, but it needs to take a step back and return more toward its roots. The games have gotten more and more action focused or AI scripted and less tactical with the last several installments. I believe Final Fantasy X-2 had the best balance of quick, fast paced…
Sure, the original PSP is necessary for that, but I'll play every game I own on the PSN on my Vita if it's there. The Vita's OLED screen makes them look so much better, not to mention the extra control options for some of the games.
The Vita really is worth it just for putting their large catalog of psp games on that beautiful screen. I'm playing Growlanser right now, and it's a blast.
The real secret wasn't blowing in the cartridge. It was almost putting the cartridge all the way in the NES, and pushing it down so it scraped the edge of the NES. For some reason that worked practically every time.
Not by looking at 640x480 screen shots. One of the main draws of the Wii-U is playing HD Nintendo games, which you can't tell by looking at those low res screens.
And that's what makes him so great! He didn't have a back story, or emotional investment with any of the characters or world. We weren't supposed to feel pity or remorse for what he became, or wish to make him see the error of his ways. Kefka was pure, malevolent evil. He had one goal, and that was remaking the world…
That's not harassment. It's just how the retail industry works when you use minimum wage paid employees. They are like the McDonald's workers of the food service industry. Instead of being insightful and attentive, they come off as ignorant and inexperienced. I'm not saying they all are bad, but there isn't much of a…
It doesn't look early. It looks dated. It looks like they are still using the same engine that they have been using for the last several games.
It was actually one of the few titles on the gb that were better than their nes version.
Terra will always have that beat.
Lost Vikings meets Maniac Mansion.
DX11 offers improved optimization and tessellation, to name a few. Unfortunately, games have to be pretty much built from the ground up with DX11 in mind, which is why no one really knows how much better DX11 games can look. Developers really haven't bothered making a fully DX11 game since everyone has plans to port…
