@IcoSotc: Kotaku likes to throw up annoyingly pointless articles to try to fuel the flames from time to time. This really is a no brainer. Red rings have cost people easily over $600 depending on when they got their system, whereas this is just an inconvenience for a couple months at most (I hope) on one feature.

@deuxhero: Don't forget that the battle system is basically mashing auto-combat over and over!

@PajamaSam: You have to admit, though. Ridiculous rumors and truth go hand in hand when it comes to Nintendo.

@W10002: He must not be if he considers VIII to be the pinnacle of the series. Most DQ fans consider one of the Zenethian trilogy games to be their favorite. VIII was a step down in all areas except graphics and music.

@W10002: They could release DQX on the friggin Dreamcast tomorrow and the console would be resurrected overnight.

@Darigaazrgb: That actually depends on the result of the class action lawsuit.

@jayntampa: Leave it to Sony for being able to turn an apology into a marketing ploy.

@Ash Paulsen: The plot and character interaction were fantastic. The main problems were the absolute lack of exploration (the series staple), and dungeon design. You may have enjoyed the dungeons, but for me, the puzzles were very basic for most of the game, and dungeons basically were just 1 puzzle room or kill room

@Ash Paulsen: It IS a rumor. Nintendo knows its market. This game is a system seller, and I will in half a heartbeat trade in my 3DS if the sucker comes with a golden, triforce engraved 3DS bundle.

@TheolaRegulus: You aren't really missing much. It does everything a Zelda game shouldn't do. Do you like exploration? Too bad! All you do is run around on train tracks. How about long, complicated dungeons that have you scratching you head? Nope! The dungeons are similar to Phantom Hourglass, in that you basically

@Horst Tappert: No. It's because Spirit Tracks was not only a dreadfully boring game, it's the sequel to what's arguably the worst Zelda game put out by Nintendo. I've played Ocarina of Time countless times, and it will be a breath of fresh air compared to the last 3 handheld entries.

@Evdor: All it takes is one careless database engineer to save the variable for the CVV2 number with the rest of the credit card information. It may not be accessible when you pull up your profile or payment information, but it could still be there in hiding.

So that's the true identity of Chargin' Chuck from Super Mario World! It all makes sense now!

@Xucuroz: They don't care. They let "accidents" slip past, rake in whatever profit they get for the couple million downloads it's going to get, and pull it whenever someone's lawyer gives them a call. It doesn't help that Kotaku is even giving it some free advertisement.

@SinDonor2: I can't tell. Is that Monino or Mario in that picture?

You know, all this talk is getting me in the mood for a Big Mac.

Parents that are too busy to raise their kids properly should not have these "trophy kids". Unfortunately, this is a very complicated argument that is both unnecessary and rather long winded, so I'm going to stop there.

@Riquez: Haha, I actually have the opposite problem. I found I beat more games back in the 80's than now, since those games were small, short games that required a lot of patience and muscle memory, both of which applied to games across the board.

@narutogameking: Sony is being sued for mishandling sensitive information. All the EULA's in the world won't help them with that.

@jspeerbr: So, you must have missed the whole Toyota breaks problem that occurred last year, huh?
