I’m sure it’s true but god I would HATE Peter as the Bachelor. Part of his appeal is that he seems like a nice guy that you’d like your friend to hook up with. That’s why he all like him for Rachel. (that + how ungodly hot he is) But if he gets put into a sea of aspiring actresses and models then he’s just another

As a white woman - SO MUCH THAT! I realized in my mid-20s (thank the lord not any later) that all that “this is our fun plan and god forbid we deviate” is actually really fucking stressful and anxiety inducing for me! This whole idea of every event needs to be f*cking pinterest worthy is SO STUPID

The whole fun plan thing seems to be how Taylor Swift lives her life

The show gets pretty predictable at this point. Peter isn’t ready for that lifetime commitment, he’s going to get cut, and be our next Bachelor. On the first episode of his season, there will be lots of shots of him, shirtless and pensive, with a voiceover about how he fell for Rachel, but “just wasn’t ready”. Then

I’ve got to get on board the “dull” train with the rest of you. Both Eric and Peter now have “established reasons” for why they won’t be picked (not ready!) and girl will now just doubt Bryan’s sincerity for whatever time is left. They’ll then have a wonderful, whirlwind promo tour and six months down the road will

Also, while Peter is talking like a normal person and saying he may not be ready to propose, he’s definitely gonna be ready for marriage as the next Bachelor backed with a couple more zero’s in his bank account and some sweet Instagram sponsored ads.

I kind of like Eric the most right now but I’m pretty sure she’s going to send him home next. She doesn’t seem as in to him as she is to Bryan (why tho) and Peter.

THANK YOU. Why doesn’t anyone give a shot about poor Frank??

I know it’s ridiculous, but I’m hoping Dean becomes the next Bachelor. It’s looking more like Peter, though. I don’t think he deserves it now.

Dean basically said point blank “don’t make me do hometowns if this isn’t real” just to get immediately kicked off after hometowns. I thought that was totally classless, especially when there’s another guy who has all but committed to not being committed.

She really was. I dated a guy who’s mother was like that. It was sad.

Bryan’s mom was fucking awful.

I immediately noticed what Dean’s dad is doing, because I see it in my own dad and father in law: It is narcissism. When dad said something like “I believe any criticism of me is really just a criticism of yourself,” the hairs stood up on my body. That’s what a narcissist says and does: Nothing is ever their fault,

His dad seems to not know how to handle his grief then and now. And their conversation needed to happen without cameras and maybe a therapist because they are both so angry.

His aunt is an amazing speaker. I saw her speak at a convention and some of the things she said about bias and diversity I refer to again and again in my work. She has a great TED talk on those topics as well.

I’m sure some asshole is going to come tell us all how it can’t be racist because Europeans are the least racist people on the planet and it’s really Americans who are the real racists for calling this out.

Yes, let’s all stand up and clap because a 47 year-old billionaire acted like a grown-up on his latest record. Talk about lowering the bar.

All of this. I don’t love Eric but I think he is sincere. Peter lost me with that story about looking in the rear view mirror.

KENNY FOR BACHELOR!

The crazy thing is that she KNOWS this. Her gut is telling her that he’s fake and sleazy. She’s admitted as much to the cameras multiple times, she just phrases it more kindly as “he’s too good to be true.” I don’t find him attractive at all, but I guess she does and that’s why she’s allowing herself to buy his
