The sad thing is, this is how the world really works.

There is no such thing as the greatest country in World and if there was the US was not be in top 10. There has been plenty of data and polling on freedom of press, life expectancy, happiness and equality in the US is no-where near the top.

What did Jim Jeffries say something like: Denmark would like to have a word with you. You want to compare freedom & greatness. In Denmark you can smoke weed, while fucking a prostitute IN front of a cop.

Recognizing that as a 45 year old man I can still juggle a soccer ball pretty well, I would also say comparing this dude to Rodney Mullen is like comparing me to Diego Maradona or Lionel Messi. Cool trick, but the comparison is laughable.

It’s one thing to say this was a nice trick and another to equate it with the most amazing ever done. It’s denigrating to the skills of others. I don’t skate, but I also have never criticized skate trick videos, because most of them, including most involving rails, are less contrived, don't require the board

You can see that the skateboard is hooked onto the rail, so it almost can’t fall off and has to rotate around the rail. I don’t think the trick is as difficult as many rail tricks where the board is not practically tethered.

Agreed, our society has run pretty rampant with that as of late.

Most people will say “it’s about the food, dammit” but I think the way most people perceive taste so long as the quality differential isn’t massive is absolutely effected by the atmosphere, even if it is subconscious. And how you perceive the looks of those around absolutely impacts how you perceive the atmosphere,

A desire for just and equal treatment is also a natural human instinct. Not just for ourselves, but also for others. Of course we have other natural instincts that clash with our desire for justice. I think it is a mistake to say it is “only” social pressure that fights against having only attractive servers in

Sure you don’t because you’re above all that. That’s why you go to McDonald’s as the it place to be, right?

The problem is that you can’t say “x is over the line but y is not’, even though they’re both unfair.

Sure, ignore the fact that 95% of places you hear about having good food, you hear about because the atmosphere, i.e. look of the place and the look of its staff, make it memorable.

Or you can do your part by frequenting establishments that have unattractive and plain looking staff.

All my socks in the hamper.

Or the carpet under my desk.

Yeah, especially in the last pic where it looks like there are 2 little black eyes looking up at us saying “Can you put me back now that you’ve taking my picture, dick?”

Looks like my furniture under a black light

And if there weren’t people would be accusing him of trying to speak for a dead woman.
