I’d like to see 2 cars run for the same mileage and time in the same fashion. One in California and one in Michigan, and compare the effects of weather and salt.

Taxing people more because they drive an ICE? What about people that live in Apartments/Condos or everywhere that don’t have access to over-night charging? Keep the subsidies for EVs
What is bullshit is the cheap $250/set nonsense people replace the stock tires with after they’ve ridden them down to the belts. Stock tires are fine; they’re usually some standard-range Continentals or Bridgestones.
The ones that don’t hate fun.
Drag queen story time for the automotive crowd. Some of us, anyways.
The question is... if a popular democrat party president were suggesting this very same livery, would ANYONE be complaining about it?
The replacement pretty much has to happen. It was set in motion at the paper-study level in 2007, and the present VC-25A is based on a 747 model that hasn’t been produced in almost 30 years and has all but disappeared from commercial service n favor of more-modern and efficient marks.
I’ll agree. The new livery isn’t terrible. It’s just incredibly mediocre and uninspired. It looks like an early 90s budget airline.
Just looks like a dolled up US Airways plane. Meh.
How can a paint scheme be greedy? Anyway, I like the JFK scheme better but this new one doesn’t look that bad. It’s not like they’re painting it to look like the Team America jet.
Oh God. It’s like that scene from Raiders.
In just under 5 yrs, the way things have been going.
You don’t think the bronco will be equally as expensive as the jeep? Seems foolish not to; people will pay a lot for the bronco
4th Gear: Jim Hatchet is notorious for “cutting for profits”. Farley taking over may not be a bad thing, could mean the return of actual cars to the lineup.
4th: Big news out of Ford. Revival of the COO position is basically a vote of no confidence in Hackett, and I think the Bloomberg analysis is right on point. This is laying the groundwork to show Hackett the door and not disrupt operations. And about damned time! The Hackett reign has been a disaster.
4th gear. How does Hackett still have a job? He sounds like a first year business student in every interview, even on softball questions. His “strategy” has bounced around as he chases any trend that he believes he can spin to raise the stock price. And Ford botched one of the biggest product releases under his tenure…
The air itself is moving at 260mph. You can then add 540mph+ on top of that without worrying about breaking “Mach 1" since the relative speed of the plane vs the air is the actual limit for when it starts breaking up, as it’s not exceeding the air’s ability to move away in front of the plane in time before the…
Hope the record holds. Glad to see these old big birds showing their stuff. Yes, it’s like an old Cadillac breaking a speed record going downhill in a tailwind, but still cool.
Would you say that Volvo...
I’m admittedly biased since I am a Volvo owner, but I would happily throw myself into debt if they ever brought back the C30 with their current design language. Make the turbo 4 the base engine at about 200-240hp (similar to the I5 output of the last gen) and offer a PHEV option. Hell, I would even be happy with a V40…
