A reasonable return policy is not a bad idea. Example, Oculus VR game purchases, they have a 2 week / 2 hour no questions asked policy, meaning as long as I request a refund (very easy to to as well) within 2 weeks of buying the game, and I haven’t logged more than 2 hours of play time, I get a refund.

I’m not saying they shouldn’t be compensated for the software--of course they should! But they should also have a reasonable return policy since it really costs them nothing to do so. If people want it, they should pay for it. If they don’t they shouldn’t be railroaded into buying it.
