The real problem is that the M240i and M340i are now SO fast. They’re in another performance league entirely, you get a nicer interior, RWD, I6, etc. Even if an M340i is 10% more, I’m sure most consumers would spend the extra $80/mo in the payment for it.

I like the Cayennes too, but we were needing a car at just about the height of the used market and we would have had to go either much older/higher mileage/not CPO (not for us when we’re planning on keeping it…

I rented a Porsche Macan on TURO last year and it was fantastic. If was going to go down to one car instead I can’t think of a better contender.
