Origin is just a useless, unfortunate step on my way to BF3. I won't even say it's bad because I don't even really use it. It annoys the hell out of me that it has to run for my game to run (steam does too for some games). Basically click BF3, loads firefox to server browser and adds that annoying origin logo to my

They literally have a whole universe (or galaxy) to work with. I can see them continuing the story with maybe Luke, Leia, Han, and their kids etc. as fringe characters BUT I don't see them going back to Vader. If they did, I would immediately lose interest. In fact, the only characters I would allow to have integral

Haha, it isn't that easy, but yes. It doesn't have to spin to read disks (that noise you hear on current hard drives...no more clicks and whirring) because it stores much like your thumb drive or SD card does. It is almost an instant on, it can read and write much faster due to not having to spin through a disc, and

I didn't care for it when I tried it earlier, like January or whatever, when it was either a beta or RC. I haphazardly tried it, clicked around and went back to 7 promptly. Goodbye goldfish screen, you were neat but whatever.

Yeah. I can imagine how games like Skyrim would have benefited from the touch screen to select items/weapons/etc and have a map out and generally be more intuitive (more than even the PC perhaps). How BF3 could use a second screen for those remote devices/map. And that's just me thinking what PC games I play could

I don't think I would regret it BUT I also don't think I will be amazed if that makes sense. I also think some later titles will obviously be better and I should just wait. I used to be a "Get the new console immediately!" kind of guy but I'm more frugal, adult and boring about it now. Maybe that is my main problem

I'm still not TOTALLY sold on the new Nintendo but I have a feeling I am underestimating it. I'm not a huge fans of tablets or gaming on my touchscreen phone but the idea that with Nintendo's controller I can FINALLY type and select without scrolling with the d-pad through lame menus is something I didn't really

I agree. I've spent the most gaming time in my life on BF 1942. Even more than Goldeneye or the subsequent Battlefields. It sounds so asshole-ish to ask but I agree they could have just thrown in the expansions. That could just be because vanilla BF to me includes all those in my memory because I played it so much not

I JUST got back into BF3 after a year hiatus basically (Skyrim and work and DayZ). I'm kind of giving it another chance. Coming from DayZ it feels so much faster and I feel OP. Also, I can tell the patches fixed it a lot (I quit playing before the B2K came out). I had qualms with how it felt coming from BC2, BF2 and

Thanks for answer AND I think I accidentally hit submit instead of editing the question proper, so sorry for the double-post! (Although the second post is the better question). I was thinking a little of the retail dates I guess, but I think it's more important to just release the better game and dates don't matter so

How early/quick is a game's release date is settled on? As soon as a game idea is imagined do you just guestimate how many man hours for each task and marketing and come up with date? Or do you maybe hold back a little and see how development goes FIRST before tying a game to a date?

How much is the date of a game being released factored in and how early? Like, when a new idea for a game comes up, is it immediately thought of "When can we get this out!?" or is it a little more determined by work-flow? And has DLC really changed that perspective (as in, fuck it, rush it out the door, fix issues

I feel like there is a happy medium that they could easily get to. The mod feels a little too saturated BUT the regular game is really bland IMO.

Just so you know, it is faster on a cell phone. I played it on my android and touching the answer is much faster than moving a mouse and then clicking on the answer (and I play Tribes: ascend!) They need to implement a number system or something so you can can just hit 1-4 on your keyboard. My times were like all .3 -

I'm not sure where I read the article but it was about Germany and how it has more lax patent laws and how it is supposedly growing the business there (not sure if true, but it was intriguing). I really feel like these squabbles over certain shapes and things are very annoying and don't do anything for anybody.

I was off-put by Windows 8 when I tried it but I kept thinking "Well, when it is just in desktop mode it will be okay". It was fine using Win 8 when it was in desktop mode BUT as soon as you try and do something that involves the metro interface it screeches to a halt (but looks good). Looks like they just couldn't

I don't know why more games don't do this. I would have never played Skyrim AND THEN BOUGHT IT if my friend didn't let me play it. 15 levels sounds fair enough (maybe even too much) but I'm guessing I'll know if I want it by then. In all honesty, I didn't really want it/was on the fence about it after some ho-hum

Or dredge out a ravine and line it with sharp points hidden by leaves and a booby trapped log...No camouflage needed..."Do It Now! Kill Me, I'm Here, Do It!"

They keep like dipping their foot in the water with online...it is so annoying. Just jump in already. How hard is it to make 2 modes for online? Make one mode for children and one for adult, turned on and off with a code by the parents if desired. Then you can have simple friending (no chat, no personal details) for

I will not say their name in case they don't want me to but somebody actually donated on my behalf and gifted me the games, so I thank them and I am happy I got the games and happy that the developers still got their share.
