On the brazilians case i think LoL has the advantage with the region lock. Anyone can go to any server that you want, but i believe they have USA+Canada on one, and Mexico and below for another. I may be wrong. On Dota there is a server closer to them but i dont know why they queue on USA's servers. Also peruvians.

With the amount of publicity Riot invest, is not strange, ive seen buses full of LoL publicity and on the street, while for dota, none. I've seen 0 publicity. Which i like, is more strange that you find raging 12 year old kids on DotA than LoL.

I think the donations are made from Paypal and in form of Gift so the other person cant return it/cancel it. Im not 100% how paypal works, i dont use it, but i think you have to have the money before you can do anything. And in form of gift he cant do shit about it.

Like i said, DISCONNECT is not the same as LEAVE GAME. Disconnect is like losing internet connection or Dota closing up. You can reconnect to it. This is a common tactic to use when somoene is goin to take a while and the opponents are douches. You dont receive any penalty at all for DISCONNECTING.

You CAN jump, but imagine trying to jump with a heavy ass sword and fullplate armor. The game would have to either add a jump-weight system which would be annoying having to take your armor off to jump and then reequip it or make it like you always have fullplate armor on, which is like the jump height that DS2 has.

Regarding the non-english speakers, i support that, why? because i believe that the internet, and mostly online-games language should be english. For people that dont know, if you are goin to take a while (1-2mins), pause and then disconnect, DISCONNECT PEOPLE, no leave game. When theres someone disconnected, the default pause time is like 1min, so people dont unpause every 5 seconds.
