I just don't get the hype around this game. I was not impressed by the E3 presser one bit — especially seeing how everyone else seems to regard the graphics as the next coming of Jesus.

Makes me sad I didn't visit the fort when I was there a couple years back. Saw the oldtown though, beautiful!
Oh man, year after year I watch these pressers telling myself "They're gonna announce it this time, I know they are," knowing full well I'll just end up getting disappointed. Yet here we are, four (five? I lost count) E3s down the road and still the flame of hope burns on.
Let's hope they put this in Saints Row IV, lol!
"Unrelated note, I thought the guy was Christian Bale for a moment."
Of course it doesn't ship outside the US. Man, would it have been that hard to add a buck or two to the shipping costs and make it available worldwide?
African people want Mother 1. :(
Oh, I never buy Games on Demand, so I don't know about those at all. But as others have mentioned, it may be linked to license transfer issues.
That isn't true. You only have to be connected to Live for indie titles. Arcade ones, such as this one, are just fine offline.
Thanks for bringing this to my attention. Will check it out immediatelly.
Seems like ages since the Xbox/Microsoft has had a high-profile indie exclusive. I like the setting am impressed with the overall quality, but I'm just too damn tired of all the retro pixel glorification.
Lol! What the hell, right!?
Meh, at this point everything looks like flash to me.
Meh Jason, it feels like you wrote this exact same article before: http://kotaku.com/5983704/two-ma…
Yeah, a new big budget title can't come quick enough, though I disagree with your statements on PoP 2008 and Forgotten Sands. I loved the art direction of the former and the tight gameplay of the latter. Also let me add that there were two triple-A games titled Forgotten Sands, one for the Wii and one for PC, PS3 and…
Well this sucks for the employees, but I find it hard to give a fig about mobile games. Good riddance.
Hey Mike, can you update us on the status of that other Hitman game that was rumored to be in production simultaneously with Absolution? It was supposedly outsourced by Square Enix and the first game in the series not handle by IO.
I loved every second of it, which rarely ever happens with a game that I folow since its first announcement. Usually it just doesn't remotely live up to the hype. Yet I just couldn't get enough of Absolution!
