Yeah, it kinda does. But you know, actually I believe he's going to get a lot of support from fellow hackers and enthusiasts. Because even if most people use his findings for piracy, those aren't the people who'd ordinarily be interested in them from a technical point of view anyway. It will be the 'IT

Can't wait for the day it happens.

Thanks for the link, it was a great read!

Thank you! Thank you for this, and also that Helba guy who replied to you!

Wow, not a single comment of support for the guy. Really, Kotaku? I thought this place was swarming with technophiles. By unlocking the console he gave the rest of the community a chance to mess around with the hardware, design software geared at their own interests. So one application of that gained knowledge is

@agTrigger:

Yeaaah, not buying it, thank you very much! The Big N needs to up their game on memorabilia like this.

@interkin3tic: I bought and it was awesome and I haven't given up hope for a second installment. Look at Beyond Good and Evil, that game was awesome and noone bought it and we still finally get a sequel!

My eyes just swelled with tears of laughter. This is why I love Kotaku.

@thecast: Not sure if I smell sarcasm in your comment. Anyway, if you ask me, there's not nearly enough incentive to 100% a game these days. One would expect a special ending at least, but often there's not even that.

@Boogie-pop: Earning achievements while using a walkthrough to get them seems pretty hypocritical to me.

@Jedi Niltag: Now I feel a little bad because you put so much thought into your reply. I consider myself a gamer, but not really what one would consider hardcore. I half-heartedly follow the news and developments in gaming and sometimes wait with anticipation for a game. 9 times out of 10 these days the game turns out

Mega Man rocks, I see what you did there.

@digimope: Glad to see you came around, good man.

I hate achievements with a passion. Whatever happened to just unlocking bonus content for 100%-ing a game? You know, like an actual hands-on reward for doing otherwise pointless stuff.

I hate open world games. Just give us back some linearity please.

@Darth Matej: Thank you for your exquisite attention to detail.

@Teancum: All three of them are explained in-game. Just have to keep talking to the Doc long enough (while he's behind bars).
