Well, Grambling cared about their student athletes. Other schools not giving a damn about their student athletes is irrelevant to this situation. The school stood up for Black women and was a good thing.

The lesson here is if you’re going to come in and make waves by fucking over 19 kids who ALSO got “let go without warning” you had better fucking win.

Perhaps limiting details to protect her privacy.

Calling them “Mean” is sugarcoating it.

In Mississippi there is a case that was in the news last week. A number of years ago a 15 year old was impregnated by a 20 yo. Statutory rape, he does his time then sues for paternal visitation, the kicker is she has to pay him child support while the child is with him, he has never paid her support.

Not to mention that plenty of states with trigger laws are seeking to make it illegal to go to another state to do it...

There is a flaw in that logic. The decision that the court released said that the federal government could not impose it’s will on the states on abortion.  That means the federal govt cannot stop a state from regulating abortion, it also means that the federal govt cannnot ban it in a state that allows it.  Unless the

Never forget: the cruelty is the point.

More than that, they’re obviously going to push for a national ban next time Republicans have control of Congress.

10 years old. I’ve taught kids in 6th grade, and could never imagine them needing an abortion. But to hear that the child was 10? That’s unreasonable. And, that is only half the real story. What happened to the person who raped her?

Not to mention, a few weeks from now it would’ve been illegal in Indiana, too.

Only took three days after this draconian republican law went into effect for a case like this to spring up, and I assure you there will be more like this one that will go unreported. This is what happens when republicans scapegoat and get conservatives to kick down. Hey conservatives, are you proud of

I am not shocked or surprised by this at all. The cruelty was the point. Making rape victims carry their rapist’s child is completely fine for these people. This Rapists Court (credibly accused President, two credibly accused justices.) I blame everyone that didn’t vote and the white women that voted for Trump.

It has nothing to do with the unborn and never has, their own actions have proven that over the years, they vote down everything that would benefit women/ children/ minorities etc. This is about control done under a false pretense. America was never a Christian Nation, nor was it founded on it, read the

The somehow even more fucked up part about all of this... anti-abortion assholes are saying “You didn’t read the whole story, she was able to go to Indiana”. Like somehow having to cross state lines to get something she could have got locally last week is NBD and that things are still normal.

fuck the GOP, fuck the supreme court, fuck Ohio.  Burn it all down.

To go through the trouble...after having her life ruined at 10 years old by rape, and then having to go through the trauma of the procedure, really is saddening.

Plain and simple these are mean people. There only interest is the power. The power to remove rights from the citizens of our country. You so called conservatives should realize the 2nd will not be protected once you become a threat to their power. Stop looking at the tree and you will see the whole forest.

Why is there no mention of the rapist or any words from her family? Hope the girl wasn’t transported by the person who raped her.
