I think for him parenting is taking them to an amusement park, showing up at birthday parties with expensive gifts but allowing the mothers to do all the heavy lifting.

I love being a grandparent because I can go visit my grandkids, have them come over and then they go home with their parents. I spoil them and love them. But this is not how a parent should be acting, you don’t just visit your kids once in awhile and buy them a bunch of stuff. That’s called being a shit parent.

This is all an ego boost for him, I doubt he has much interest in actual parenting, or at least much less than he does the conception.
