Are you suggesting that umpires should be suspended for mistakes and games be replayed after a mistake is discovered? Or are you saying suspensions for malicious play that wasn’t called as such during the game is wrong? I’m confused at what you’re saying here.

Hi there! That reply is pretty much copy and pasted from a comment of mine earlier - the person you just replied to is the lunatic clown running around with a name very similar to mine, but I’m the “real” one here (feel free to compare our respective comment histories, or followers, for example.) If you’re lucky, you

I don’t care for any of those denominations. But they’re all mandated reporters. and I've seen no argument.

Um, I don’t think that guy was defending Hardy. He was arguing that the NFL tried to basically suspend him for two years, and this year’s suspension got reduced. No one doubts that Hardy is a despicable person, and belongs in jail, but simple quoting the report doesn't actually address what the other guy said.

not exactly fair or accurate. they held him off the field for 15 games last year and tried another 10 this year.

The only problem with your point is that it makes sense, is reasonable, and demonstrates intelligence. All of those things are bad if you like the NRA.

What is he “spot on” about exactly? He didn’t even make an argument, Jones was the only one making actual points. I’ll logic chop it for you so you can at least die on a decent hill for your BS position.

You mean arguing that people should be paid for their labor? Such a radical “lean.”

However you feel about the underlying issue, Kanell led with “not the right time, man,” which is almost always bullshit.

Right. Bomani, Deadspin, people with a brain: that kids destroying their bodies for next to nothing while people make millions off their work is wrong.

That’s a grade-A coup-de-grace by Jones there. “Motherfucker, we’re doing THE SAME THING right now.”

Bomani Jones is right.

There is a Michael Showalter stand up clip called The Apartment. In it, he describes finding his entries in his high school literary magazine (of which he was the editor also), and imitates his teenage self screaming “IM A WRITER! YEESSSSSSSS!” after each angsty sentence.I think of Jonathan Franzen every time I listen

something along the lines of a Diet Coke?

It’s not THAT bad. I made it to 4 paragraphs and I only have cancer.

While I smart, he goes on: “I’m a poor person who has money.”

Hey J. Franz, turns out when you market yourself as the lone savior of literature but forget to be a halfway decent writer, there’s gonna be some backlash. How about that part where he says he feels feelings more intensely than the rest of us, because he’s a nooooooveliiiisssssst? What a douchebag.

Oh, so we don’t know how to read now? What is he even on about here, I bet he doesn’t know.

this wasn’t even a catholic thing though, i know catholic orphanages that adopt to divorced parents or single parents at least here in the US. Their religion doesn’t say no to this, it’s just their own beliefs at this specific group of nuns.
