McBareback sounds so much classier than McRawDog.

I didn’t realize basketball teams used their own basketballs on every possession. That’s pretty crazy.

I hope that one day a man who picks up garbage will pick up this garbage human and throw him onto the back of a truck.

One sentence after patting yourself on the back for not grouping everyone together, you insult someone by referring to them as a girl. Good work?

And Chip Wilson is still psychologically 18.

Dallas just dodged a bullet. Who makes a child the “face of the franchise?”

I pretty much agree with you, but Jordan is only a max contract player because there aren’t a lot of good centers in the NBA anymore. He’s not a cornerstone player, and nobody is going to run their offense through him.

People who try to be nice all the time tend to be dumbfounded to discover that half the people they know want to strangle them.

“Don’t be nice; be real.”

Didn’t Aldridge meet with the Lakers twice? Some people just take a minute to decide what they want. Aldridge went where he thought he was gonna go originally. I think Jordan still bolts.

I’m still debating turning myself in to the police because I once played Grand Theft Auto. That’s a whole lot of crime I’ve been trying to ignore.

I can’t speak for the OP, but it’s in bad taste to gloat about keeping the deposit for a charity event. If you’re going to keep the money, just shut up about it, because the situation doesn’t make you look so good.

Teenagers tend to rebel against their parents. JMO.

With next year’s first going to Philly if it’s outside the top 3, 2 young players to develop, and free agents to impress next summer? Okay.

Aldridge signed with the team that was his known #1 choice since before free agency began. I was a little shocked that today’s article didn’t document somebody’s terrible failure to make the guy change his mind.

You haven’t imagined these things, but it seems like you might be taking them for granted.

Lots of basketball viewers in LA can’t watch the Lakers unless they’re on ABC or TNT, because of the team’s TV deal with Time Warner.

Who is even on the $500 bill?

The last time an owner [Dan Gilbert] complained about the Lakers, Stern vetoed the Chris Paul trade. At least this time provided some comedy.

I thought he didn’t want to play center, and that he wanted to go to a contending team. I’m a Lakers’ fan, but I assumed the Lakers weren’t really in the mix for Aldridge, for those two reasons.
