He said it in French because that’s its name, and that’s the name it is known by in the UK. So why wouldn’t he?

Ugh. He called it Médecins Sans Frontières becuase that’s its name, and that’s what it is called int he UK, where it is a very well-known charity. It would have been weird for him to use the stupid US version of the name, IMO.

It’s called MSF in the UK. Which is why he used it. And it is its proper name.

It’s a well-known charity in the UK and that’s what it’s called in the UK, so why wouldn’t he call it that? Sheesh. Americans.

Nope. He wasn’t being pretentious. Its name is Médecins Sans Frontières. It was founded in 1968 by French doctors. Everywhere in the world - except the US - it is known as MSF. It had to be rebranded in the US with an English name because dummy Yanks can’t cope with foreign languages. Only Yanks call it Doctors
