Certain characters serve certain purposes. Symmetra is highly defense oriented so picking her on attack is usually not a good idea at all. Some people also purposely pick these kinds of heroes and then do things like build turrets near the spawn which clearly aren’t going to accomplish anything just to make people mad.

Given the facts of the matter, i think they probably started investigating because recording sexual encounters without another person’s permission is illegal. So it wouldn’t matter if she was 100 years old, it’s still a crime.
