Yeah, and for what? It’s not like they spent all that money to make the thing a looker. I don’t get the point.

Trust.

I would imagine the dealer should be responsible for giving the kid the money back as the salesman was working for them at the time. From there, I would think they have to get the money back from him under threat of reporting him for theft and fraud charges (which I would still do even if I got the money back because

Same here. As impractical as it is and as much as I still haven’t figured out how I’ll haul the kayaks, I just ordered a GR86. For what will likely be my last ICE car, I want something simple, manual, fun to drive at normal speeds, that should be respectably reliable and get around 30 mpg.

If I hadn’t been on one already, it was only because it was pre-9/11. From my writing, search history, and probably people making anonymous phone calls, a jury duty note was the least of it.

It doesn’t have much to say about it other than the potential for destruction of the chemistry during a thermal runaway event. These are almost definitely abused and poorly made with garbage battery management, no thermal management, and the cheapest chargers on the fastest charge settings. Only the cheapest electric

I used to be selected for jury duty every year or two and they’d bring me as far as they could without having to discount me from selection for seven years. Finally, in comments as to why I shouldn’t be selected for jury duty, I wrote that I go by my own code which may or may not coincide with the law written to

I use small li-ion packs to run 12V lights on my bicycles, but only slow charge them supervised in the garage. For an E-kayak I converted, I went with LiFePo and a quality BMS, which is a much more stable chemistry and properly managed. I think there are multiple problems here, though. I’m sure these are cheaply made

I’m with you, but I think we’re a minority since most boats are built with wide beams as party platforms. So much so, that I had to design my own to get something with an efficient narrow beam. Then again, I’m probably more extreme the other way: two is temporary, three is a crowd.

That or the guy is really thorough. NBC filters aren’t cheap and didn’t get cheaper (assuming he’s using one of those).

This right here. They need to start selecting. “Sorry, the guy with the broken finger is going to get treated first. You couldn’t find the time to get vaccinated, we’ll find the time when we can, once all the healthcare workers have their normal shifts. Don’t worry, though, it’s not real, anyway. Why are you even

I don’t even think this is really some half-baked protest, it’s just what he’s saying because he thinks it legitimizes his excuse to be “funny” and mitigates any penalty for having this story to tell his boys. This is exactly the kind of tetrapod humor of a certain set of mass-produced, very stupid douchebros, the

One of the major elements of sports is luck and a related one is the effect of bad calls. Sometimes things go your way, sometimes not, but over a season it generally evens out. The weird unlapping change was certainly BS, but shit happens and I just hope it leads to some damn consistency in calls. I’m glad MB isn’t

I’m that kind of person, so I came up with a solution when I was a teenager: always leave my keys in my pants or winter jacket pocket so I know where they’ll be. Plus, if you need to jump out of bed and flee in a hurry, you can just throw on the pants/jacket you’d presumably need to grab anyway and have your keys.

ND—even if I liked the idea, the style of the flares don’t match each other at all, the rear doesn’t even match the car, and it’s an automatic. The best thing about non-airbag cars is being able to have an attractive steering wheel and he uses that ugly-ass Mustang one he then has to chop the bottom off of to fit

Most, if not all the really high end manufacturers will do this for extra cost. People still buy their Rolls Royces in black or white, anyway.

When I first heard of these, I had to actively think of a positive use for it while nefarious ones came readily to mind. OK, I’ve lived a life and been through some shit, but I find it hard to believe that every one of these tech douchebros is a sheltered wuss that couldn’t think of how this tech would be used for

They’ll get here once they’ve finished commenting on some other article about another endangered manual dying off with a “who cares, luddites?”. There’s pretty much every other damn car being built with an auto and the vast majority with that as their only option.

Yeah, where is a BRG or plum or . . . any damn thing but another white?

This here. I’ve found it surprising just how little apparent corrosion it can take to prevent a starter from having enough torque to start an engine and since it’s been sitting with mud on it, that’s a very likely possibility.
