When I first heard of these, I had to actively think of a positive use for it while nefarious ones came readily to mind. OK, I’ve lived a life and been through some shit, but I find it hard to believe that every one of these tech douchebros is a sheltered wuss that couldn’t think of how this tech would be used for

They’ll get here once they’ve finished commenting on some other article about another endangered manual dying off with a “who cares, luddites?”. There’s pretty much every other damn car being built with an auto and the vast majority with that as their only option.

Yeah, where is a BRG or plum or . . . any damn thing but another white?

This here. I’ve found it surprising just how little apparent corrosion it can take to prevent a starter from having enough torque to start an engine and since it’s been sitting with mud on it, that’s a very likely possibility.

Also, chassis and everything else tends to corrode quicker, rubber parts dry out and crack, and vermin take residence. Perhaps there are even some in whatever cylinder(s) had open exhaust valves and that’s the problem (I imagine they wouldn’t get past the air filter or throttle body on the intake side).

It would probably have been fine if they waterproofed it against consumer mistakes and poor build quality, but I guess Audi doesn’t charge enough for their POS to get that right. German engineering!

Oh, what do you prefer Prince John?! Just wait until King Richard makes it back from the Crusade!

I think the problem with the idea of making a car movie is that cars are just things. It’s people that give them life and meaning and make them interesting, so when a movie is made focusing on a car(s), character and story are almost always neglected and it results in largely unwatchable junk with the exception of a

I hated that movie so much that I forgot it existed!

Yeah, he wasn’t charged with stealing the car, but he was charging with being in possession of a stolen vehicle. Unless their laws are odd where those are essentially the same thing, there’s something odd here.

My first thought, too.

This is more of a general remark about the current billionaire dick swinging fad, but it’s probably because the pollution to send one parasite into space measures in the millions of equivalent automobile emissions. Automobiles that they try to make us feel guilty about driving while the biggest polluters—companies run

As someone whose idea of “built not bought” is a ground-up build of my own design that’s too different to use an existing car’s chassis as a donor, these overlooked minor engineering details are far more fascinating than the typical dry canned car reviews that are afraid to be too critical until the replacement drops

The BMW ads were awesome, but since they’re already shown, I liked the VW ad where the guy looks like he’s racing to get to his wedding, but you find he’s actually there to stop it with the J Ralph song “One Million Miles Away” playing.

Same here. I’m an Independent, but really a default Democrat even though I am not a fan of most of them. I can’t imagine a scenario going forward where I would vote for a Republican after what the party has become (and is only getting worse). They’ve been bad for a while, but their very real lunacy has reached levels

I’m starring this, but I CERTAINLY don’t do that myself!

I imagine he also writes off the miles. Nobody cries louder and whines more than these perpetual victim assclowns.

That was my thought, On rare chance there’s an option I actually care to use, a relay, some wire, and a switch isn’t that difficult to manage. I like stripped cars, though, so I’m just as likely to rip out the crap I won’t pay to use, anyway. Except for sunroofs, but I actually prefer manual roofs to power, so the

There was the Air Breathers cult, so the idea of a Musk one is almost tame.

Yeah, people talk about the drivers whining, but at least they’re out there doing battle where emotions are on a stretched piano wire, not sitting in a control booth and none of the drivers can compare to the whining coming from the Horner and Wolff.
