He just wasn’t very funny, unfortunately. He’s really lost a lot of appeal in recent years. I don’t think Caitlyn Jenner jokes are off the table at all, though I think it’s in poor taste to start by saying Bruce Jenner. Still, I didn’t find him terribly offensive at any point. Just kind of sad.

Journalists should be able to talk to whomever they can but the issue is that Sean Penn wrote a glowing profile that Chapo had editorial control over. But at least that's why I'm not upset over it but see why it's wrong. I highly doubt the people causing a ruckus realize that.

I loved Show Me a Hero. Between the 2 & 3 week I couldn’t wait to see what happened and ended up buying the book and reading it in 2 days. It isn’t exactly a happy read, since housing inequality and racism don’t have easy answers, but I found it an informative and easy read. Highly recommend.
