A day later and I wish I could star your response for a second time

Were the deputies able to produce Victor White's gun, and did the bullet removed from his body come from that gun? Was there gunshot residue on his hands? If not, obvious lie is obvious.

Homicide simply means the act of one human killing another human. It does not mean murder. All murders are homicides, but not all homicides are murder.

complete failure to educate or inform employees. Most high school graduates probably don't know what lye is or does. If you're used to Ajax or something being the strongest cleaning product in your house, you don't think that a tiny taste of something on the tip of your tongue is going to cause severe chemical burns

That's a good point, actually. If I had two jars of white crystallized substances on the counter I would probably think one was sugar and the other salt. Not one was sugar and the other one lye.

Jeezy Chreezy. Someone at my place of work put toxic chemicals in a Coke bottle (as in, one that still had the Coke label on it) and, if it wasn't bad enough, the chemicals ate through the bottle and caused a huge spill in the chemical cupboard and lots of lovely toxic vapours as well. No one was at all hurt, thank

Apparently dickey's BBQ has an issue with doing things responsibly. A location recently opened near us. I actually really liked the food but it's already closed after a couple of months. Apparently the franchisee says there was no support and they shut him down for being $1200 behind on franchising payments. However

Well, I guess I will make it my life's mission to never, ever eat at Dickey's BBQ.

exactly. The restaurant is trying to claim that it was an "isolated incident", but an employee was injured by lye a little over a month before. Clearly they neglected to properly label it. or train their employees in safe handling. So very very wrong.

See, I could understand how someone could move an unlabeled container if a white, crystalline substance from say, next to the deep fryer (where it was used for cleaning) to near the drink dispenser (where the sugar goes), because they just thought someone had left the sugar in the wrong place. That's why I am SUPER

yup, this is a great instance to sue for say 10 million dollars. Sorry restaurant owner, you fucked up and horribly injured someone.

OR A LABEL.

Better question, who the hell stores cleaning chemicals in the same place as food?

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE let them really go. And someone contact Isis that they are coming!!!

I don't like violence, but if they're VOLUNTEERING to go antagonize ISIS, why can't we help them out?

And an episode of law and order svu where John stamos was the multidad

Of all the chemicals you could possibly have anywhere around food or food prep areas, Lye ranks in the top ten of "oh FUCK NO". It's insane that the employees were allowed to handle it so casually with no oversight or training into what it is.

Holy hell. Who on earth thinks its ok to not label a container of lye?! I hope this woman sues the crap out of the restaurant, its owners, and its managers, and that the employee who was injured filed an OSHA complaint and will also receive a sizable amount of money.

Dear VMA performers: Large, dangerous snakes are not props for your performance. THEY ARE LARGE, DANGEROUS SNAKES. Don't use live fucking creatures in your stupid performances. The VMAs aren't cursed because Nicki Minaj's dancer got bit; falling down is a mistake, getting hurt by a boa constrictor is the direct fault
