She’s the hero Baltimore deserves, and, fortunately, the one it needs right now.

Yeah, but given the impracticalities of that position it’s somewhat rare.

Seems about right.

1. Why the fuck would they give him a platform?

I didn’t say they were the same thing, but there are perfectly legitimate reasons that a man might want to have children earlier because there is a significant decrease in fertility (which, for some men, likely does become a complete inability at some point, though not for all) and in sperm quality that could lead to

I wouldn’t get too jealous. He’s a slytherin you know.

What’s in the baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaax?

The only thing I’ll note about your moral system is that there are lots of situations where the imperatives you’ve articulated will demand contradictory courses of action. Raising large amounts of cattle, for example, is terrible for the environment. On the one hand, yes, this is a man made problem, but on the other

Jezebel’s best friend/Fox News correspondent Andrea Tantaros is dating Dave Navarro.

Yeah, if it was coming from, say, Louis CK that’s how I would read it. Granted, I don’t have a lot of context for Australian TV, but it seems reasonable to assume they’re not that provocative? Can any Australians confirm this?

The most generous possible explanation I’ve heard so far (and I’m not saying I buy this) is she meant something more along the lines of, “pale solidarity!” and it came off more like, “white pride!”

Yeah ... when the story first broke I thought it was in kind of poor taste to run with it since Paul is refreshingly progressive on policing and enforcement for a conservative (so there was no obvious hypocrisy that would make it newsworthy) ... but ... man ... this one he deserved.

Can’t unsee.

Yeah, I never saw it, so that’s not a comment on the quality of the movie, but just the perception of it since it got middling reviews and (though I think it did make back its money internationally) its domestic gross was a fraction of the budget.

I think Brad Pitt’s best as a producer though: the departed, tree of life, money ball, killing them softly, 12 years a slave, the normal heart, and selma.

Dude, I forgot about Intermission. He was great in that. As was everyone...

He was also great in In Bruges, The New World, and the half of Saving Mr Banks I saw (I was too drunk to watch the other half). He definitely has range and chooses some interesting stuff, but since he’s also in some high profile flops, his career has never felt consistent (Alexander, Miami Vice).

Yes. Which is a shame because he does do interesting work, but the inexplicable* fame tends to overshadow it.
