incognito?

This should work, “this won’t work because the waitress is monogamous and currently in a committed relationship.” :-)

You’re giving David Ayer too much credit.

I haven’t gone through all the articles you posted, but they seem to be assuming that evolved altruistic behavior, a capacity for empathy, and some sense of social mores (which, it’s not news to me that animals are capable of that) is the same thing as morality. I would argue that’s not the case. There’s a reason most

That was my first instinct, but, then, like, Jeffrey Dahmer had one trial that included 15 counts of murder, which would pose the same problem. Though I guess this could vary state to state...

:-O

WHY WOULD YOU KEEP A WATER MOCCASIN AS A PET OH MY GOD

I KNO RIGHT?!?!?!

It’s pretty magical.

Bronson is amazing. And I believe it is still on netflix instant if anyone hasn’t seen it.

Renner’s non-apology was worse than the offending comments. Evans’ was gracious and appropriate.

I think that has a lot to do with it.

I’m referring to a case where they want to bring three or four rape charges against him in one jurisdiction where they’re recent enough that they fall within the statute of limitations. I know they can’t bring one charge and be like, “but 30 other ladies say it happened to them to” if they’re not bringing those 30

Oh, yeah, I recall gawker covering it, and the lawsuits had been in the news here and there, but Buress was the straw that broke the camel’s back here.

What I meant was more, could crimes against multiple victims at different times (assuming they were within the statute of limitations and in the same jurisdiction) be covered in a single trial, since multiple claims would probably make the witness evidence more persuasive? Though I guess serial killers go on trial for

Judd Apatow actually said something interesting about this last fall when the number was still in the 20s or 30s. “He’s more dedicated to rape than comedy,” or something to that effect.

I agree that the playboy mansion is probably not a rape factory, but this was going on for 40+ years and the only reason we know about most of these assaults is because Hannibal Buress brought up a decade old lawsuit in a show that someone videotaped. I’m sure there’s a lot of terrible stuff beloved people have done

Yeah ... is anyone defending him at this point? I guess if he’s still doing shows some people must be ...

I’m guessing that it would still be difficult to prove that any single assault happened, even though from the all the stories it’s pre-tay, pre-tay, pre-tay clear that he’s a serial rapist, so I’m not too optimistic about that ... :-/
