Well, the big one was too obvious. Sometimes it's the little things that stick with you.

Ah, your being in the community softens my view a bit. That makes it much less hate-crimey than if you were outside their community and just thought they'd be an easy target.

My word was leprechaun. The weird thing was the guilt from the act of cheating imprinted the correct spelling onto my brain anyway...

I cheated on a test in first grade. My mom was very proud that I aced it. I HAVE CARRIED THE GUILT WITH ME FOR TWO DECADES.

Jaden's troll game is strong.

AHHAHAHAHAHA I imagine this kid is going to be mortified and wish never to speak of it again, and when he finally does reveal it to a future partner will suddenly realize it's actually world's greatest humblebrag.

I'm a celebrity face-mash savant.

Emile Hirsch's face is the pretty version of Michael Shannon's face. Though, by all accounts, Michael Shannon is a pretty cool guy and I don't feel right dragging him into this.

Not so sure about that, Thompson is trying really hard to distance himself from his predecessor, and it sounds like he wants to make an example of Liang. Whether or not this is merely a show of accountability and it won't extend to other cases remains to be seen, but I don't see him backing off this.

You could be moving abroad. You could have a baby that the animal doesn't get along with. Or you could ... just be kind of a shitty,

Because she's one of a handful women with a television show and HBO tried to package her as the voice of the millennial women, so millennial women end up worried that that means whatever she does reflects on them and feel the need to put as much space between her and them as possible when they discover what she does

I agree with the sentiment, though the rescue org I got my cats from didn't specify anything about logistics of a return, just that they had to be returned if for some reason we couldn't care for them (they were a tiny organization with no shelter and I'm not sure the lady who ran it was all there). That said,

meh, i mean, most rescue organizations I know make you sign a thing that says if you for some reason stop being able to care for your animals, to return them to the organization rather than find them a new home yourself/give them to a friend/put them on craigslist, etc. so, minus the cardboard box being suboptimal,

also, you know, there's the money richard hayne gave to fucking santorum
