I lived there ( Parel in Mumbai ) for 4 months and did several long-distance-trainrides, my advice is DON'T take 1st class, you'll only end up in a fridge-temperature compartment and end up with a cold even though you're in India... Having a cold in that weather sucks balls...

I wish gas was wo fucking cheap man... 5$ a gallon would be a godsent! Here in Europe it's 1,5 euro per liter, so that would be 7.3$ per gallon so quit wining!

we do have a large amount of 'sweet' beer, I'm more a triple-drinking guy, slightly heavier and often a bit more 'bitter' then the usual beers.

You should be glad in a way... You have lots of awesome beer to discover anytime you leave the country, while I have to drink pissbeer compared to what we're used to :-D
