If you’re not watching DTM, you’re doing your race-watching all wrong... it’s possibly the most accessible racing-series in the world...

Awesome photo! Could you please also provide one in 5760x1080 for all triplse-screen-sim-racing-fans? :-D
they are 20 cm high and 2 meters wide at about eye-level, they are photo-holes mate ;-)
It's the best spot period... You can see the cars dive onto Quiddelbacher-straight, dive down, dissapear and then come up ( you can't see the jump very well though ), then you can listen if they lift or not for the superfast righthander right in front of you and watch them all the way to the lefthander leading to…
the only complaint I've had there from the track-"ordners" ( kinda like marshals ) was that our BBQ smelt so great that he was getting hungry from the smell, so we gave him a nice steak :-D
I've stood at that very place during over 40 races in the last 8 years, hell I've sat with my brother on mondaymorning of the 24hrs that was "paused" due to rain for over 3 hours at almost the exact spot where that car landed (there was a similar GTR too) and never have I been told or seen any singage that says you…
When the fourth of us ( my 10 year younger sister ) was born in the early 90's, my family had to switch from the 'talking' Renault 25 to a Mitsubishi Space Wagon... That sounded so cool to my ears when my dad told me what we were getting... until I saw it... for sure the most hated car my family ever owned...
It's actually kinda strange how it happened for me... My fathers and grandfathers weren't into cars AT ALL, it was just a tool... Like all boys I kinda liked the ways cars could look and by the time I got my licence ( at 18 as I'm Belgian ), driving a car was just a great way to liberate myself but I didn't "Love"…
Could be, wouldn't surprise me :-)
in project CARS you can drive the Audi R18 from inside the cockpit ( or even from helmetview if you like ) and I was astounded by the lack of outsideview... their A-pillars ( can we call them that on a car like that? ) are very wide compared to the windows, I think I'll have to wait until the Oculus Rift is available…
As my gaming PC is WAY more powerful then my XBone or my PS4, I'm not too exited about this :p
I have 2 chickens in our garden ( they have a little plot of their own ) and my family of 5 ( my wife and I, our 3yo son and 1,5yo twin girls ) can't keep up with the amount of hormone- and antibiotic-free Raised Without Cages eggs they generate :-)
My dad is a carpenter and he owns a few basic japanese handsaws ( which work on the pulling-movement, not the pushing/pulling like most of our handsaws ) and even someone absolutely not used to doing handwork ( my best friend for example ) can make a perfectly straight cut with them, it's incredible ( he cut through a…
I'm not sure about that... The official price I get from the Belgian Ford Website is 35K eur for the ecoboost version, sure it's still 11k$ more then in the US but also 15k eur less then your guess!
like Race-Of-Champions used to be in their best time?
Toyota is trying with their GT86-based rally-car :-) The testing-vids look EPIC and it's passages at the German Rally weekend were great to watch.
I love how one of the other photos in the 'slideshow' with this one has a giant "First Impressions are everything" slogan plastered on it...
It'll win all the races it enters because everybody that sees that thing appear in its mirrors will just go to the pits and retire from the race out of fear :-)
amazing reply! Glad you're getting your own! I'll probably never own a supercar, but I'm happy for the people that do as long as they use it as it was meant to be used and from your reply, it seems like you're planning to do just that! If you ever go to the 'Ring with it, give a shout out so us Jalops can come and…
that could be up to 120 EXTRA cars, that's noticeable for sure, our street gets used as a detour-route sometimes for the main road and I live in the middle of nowhere in Belgium, and we notice it the instant the detour is activated and I'm only talking about maybe 50 cars in an hour total iso the 10 or so...
