it's not chalk, it's spaypaint and other permanent paints and they've been leaving it for a decade already, only goes away from age and repaving :-)

this was just regular spaypaint, people seem to use all different kinds of paint from what I've seen so far :-)

From my limited knowledge of the track you should be able to spot it from your car, after you pass the "Kleine Carrousell" ( Small Carrousell ) you'll have a long uphill sweeper to the right which leads onto the main straight before you have to get off again, it's right in the middle of the corner :-)

they do use the actual grafiti, but they don't update the scans every time, I believe the FM2 and FM3-version are identical ( around 2005/06), afaik the GT5-version is with the grafiti from 2007, so maybe in GT6? :-)

I arrived on Wednesday, the other's of our group on Thursday, there's a lot of time between that and the 4pm start of the race on satuday, plus at night you're kind of allowed to "walk" on the track, so we walked around Galgenkopf ;-)

except, they never clean the track... the whole track is covered in this from start to end ;-)

I think it is the big white smudge at 4:41-4:42

*heartclicked*

I was there with 2 other jalops from Wednesday, it was EPIC :-) We visited Brunchen, Hohe Acht, Carrousel, Kleine Carrousel, HedwigsHohe, Wipperman, Mullenbachschleife and Flugplatz.

agreed, it is an amazing drive :-)

they HAVE to use the tires they sell the car with...

dinosaurs all went extinct at about the same time to accomodate for engines like this...

exactly what I'll be doing for the 24hours of the Nurburgring in 2 weeks :-)

heartfelt hearthclick for this one! Can't agree more, after that: traction control and anything else that has made all the "OTHER" drivers so bad :-)

I don't get all the hate you people have for this work of art, I've been following it on the VLNs and 24hrs of Nurburgring since 2007 and it is an AMAZING piece of machinery, no matter how many cars are around it, you can pick out its bestial roar from afar, it looks stunning and performs really well for being

Gent is in Belgium afaik, I drive by it every time I visit my best mate in that side of Belgium ;-)

Waterzooi is from Belgium, not from the Netherlands...

Can't wait to see it live again this saturday!

I have so much respect for this guy...

I just feel it's a shame it got washed before he bought it, at the NurburgringMuseum next to the track are some past participants to the race and they've all been left the way they left the track, with melted rubber, ducttape and all the other shit still on it, it just has way more "style" that way I think...
