I feel like King Crimson belong on a different list. "Bands who have only contained 1 consistent member for 40 years and kept the same name." KC has basically gone through at least 5 complete lineup changes that always revolved around Fripp (which is mentioned).

It does as a stand alone. I watched Avengers without having seen Captain America (seen it now) or Thor (still havent), and although I'm familiar with both of those characters, I found Avengers missing something. I'll stand by that.
