I’ll say it…I don’t have a problem with the 996 and I think it’s been unfairly maligned. I was cross-shopping a 997 S and a 996 Turbo, and even though the interior looked “dated” at first, I actually started PREFERRING the look of the 996 after test driving it. I think it just looks more unique, and has more…
This one, with its GT3 engine, now shares the Turbo’s double-row IMS too — it should be immune
I saw one in Ohio a bit back. They peel off pretty easily.
Ayn Rand is a hell of a drug.
Never mind what we did to Iraq. Or hell, almost every war we’ve been in, including inside the USA.
Your real problem is you have too many cars... if you got rid of most of them, you would also have far fewer car problems...
Silver Lake is one of the most exclusive and expensive neighborhoods in L.A.
Elon Musk is another example. the guy is a fucking moron.
You know, Kim, take away all your paid staff and you’d be shitting your Spanx knockoffs trying to figure out how to feed and occupy four young children every day.
Not sure you made your point.
Obviously something is still wrong then; perhaps a future study will reveal that the aluminum in your antiperspirant caused your conservatism?
When I come to Jalopnik and click on a review of some crazy Bugatti, I want to escape reality for a bit and read about the ultimate car.
In case you all haven’t noticed. We’ve been watching the death of this thing for quite some time. The shit company that bought this brand has choked almost all of its properties in the name of getting every last fucking penny they can out of them. Ultimately at the cost of killing the golden goose.
Fuck you.
Good comment. Speaking for me, I’m just feeling bummed lately. I don’t think it’s representative of a change in direction, there’s just a lot of bad shit happening right now.
You can also just not buy a new car if you don’t like the prices of them.
Thank you for taking the what I imagine was .02 seconds to find a picture of an F40 with the lights up. If only the staff would be as dedicated as you. Hell former staff would have written 20,000 words on how they work and the person who designed them.
Can’t say the F40 with headlights up bothers me that much, still a pretty cool design. For cars that look pretty good with headlights up, I’d go with the Ares Panther, a reskinning of a Lambo Huracán inspired by the De Tomaso Pantera. Also the BMW 850i ones were very well integrated into the design up or down.
