Yea, agreed. As much as I appreciate this article, I don't think a non-smoker is very qualified to tell a smoker how to quit. There's just no frame of reference.

Toothpaste works as well.
So I let my anger build, and started violating the three rules mentioned at the beginning of the article. My plan was to basically get fired - so at least I could collect unemployment. I left on vacation and there was a question of proper paperwork being filed for one of the days, and when I came back, I was…
What a timely article - I just quit/was fired.
I think it's worth referencing the original SNL digital short, if you don't get the cheesy video:
Agreed. I think this is the beginning of the end for them. Chrome is gaining browser share very fast - they'd be wise to focus less on version numbers and more on speed, like their 50ms goal.

@AbsurdHero: Pretty much sums up my position exactly.
@dcdean1: Rails for Zombies is great - I finished it a few weeks back. They give you the URL for a great book at the end (railstutorial.org) which I am plugging through now.
@superhrman: Agreed. Last time I paid that much for a guitar the bridge peeled off after a year of playing.
Who's in for some Wolfenstein?
You know, the /IM argument will let you kill processes by name. As in, taskkill /IM process.exe.
@shazaam42: Agreed. And the Danica Patrick shtick gets really annoying. Plus that Bob Parsons guy seems a little crazy.
Ask for just one day, and prove it to them that you're productive.
Boy, this would've been helpful when I was studying for my Microsoft Exams. Great idea.
@MrEvil: My God, yes. Insert horror story here about corrupted Active Directory, Exchange DB, SQL, etc.. if you have a server, you MUST have a working UPS with the shutdown software.
