People were expecting the same stuff that was said in 2014, mere days before release when the press knew damn well it was no longer like that. There were no follow up stories of “NMS not looking like it’s first trailers” by the press.

Many took to Twitter to scoff at the Reddit thread. Some called it “entitlement.”

It’s a different matter when it’s their jobs. You’re acting like they have no experience to pull from in perhaps tempering expectations and passing that knowledge on to fans.

Instead it was basically free marketing before release.
