“Just 3 of you, who would rather write snarky, nonsensical comments than have a discussion.”
“Just 3 of you, who would rather write snarky, nonsensical comments than have a discussion.”
I assume this is another semantic “gotcha,” but enlighten me.
It’s possible that you’re remarkably unlucky, and everyone you’re talking to happens to be a troll.
(AND I’M NOT AN EXPERT STATISTICIAN LIKE YOU), but it’s more likely that you’re the problem.
Your original claim was never limited to digital media, BTW. In fact, it implied that you were talking about TV.
“All the people who’ve actually studied the data are acting irrationally. My own anecdotal experience proves it. I could prove that I’m write and all of journalism is wrong, but I’m going to do your work for you. Fuck off, troll.”
You’re aware that sites have traffic numbers, right?
What’s laughable is the idea that questions are somehow more or less sensitive based on the geography of the person doing the asking.
I feel like they were all in northern California, too.
You selling your TV?
It’s a massive NATIONAL news story (hint: the President talked about it), and the city where it happened has a tiny newspaper (circ. 14,000) and no local TV. You propose that the national media just run “Shooting Reported at Oregon School. As for details, ¯\_(ツ)_/¯” until the police release a statement or the local…
Not all assholes use the word “ilk” (example, me), but 100% of people who use the word “ilk” are assholes.
How would you suggest a reporter contact this potential witness to the day’s events?
I just read the ESPN piece. Yeah, the guy has some issues, but he seems decent enough. I actually like him.
Thanks for that explanation. I use nitrile gloves in my shop all the time, and could definitely find them nice to have on the trail. I’m probably reckless, but I don’t think much about personal protection in my first aid kit. (Someone else mentioned carrying a CPR barrier). I figure my odds of having the use the kit…
At least he packed his tactical wallet. Essential.
Why do gloves rank so high on your list?
That’s a sophomoric truism. Greater economic freedom can include the freedom to pay any wage, the freedom to pollute, to employ children, to discriminate based on race, age, or disability, etc. etc.
I unreservedly support free speech, but am still comfortable telling people that they’re talking nonsense. I’m cool condemning them for how they choose to exercise autonomy over their own mouths.
This kind of talk has nothing to do with actually appealing to black people. It’s 95% a dog whistle to racist voters who like seeing blacks get kicked around; and 5% a dog whistle to white voters who’d love to have blacks join the GOP, as long as they get their act together first.
The (alleged) victim’s lawyer is under no obligation to offer evidence of a hoax involving his client’s mother. As the prosecutor explained, there’s no crime to report - or for there to be evidence of. If he calls the mother as a witness, he’s under no obligation to disclose facts that undercut that testimony.
