I think the most frustrating part about trying to explain how a clutch works is the terminology. “In” vs “out”, “on” vs “off”... even “release” can be confusing, as you need to specify whether you’re talking about releasing the clutch disc or the clutch pedal.

As someone living in southern california and having to stare at gas prices creep up to the $3.50 per gallon mark....yes I still give a damn about fuel economy. And I’m actually getting tired of ONLY getting 36MPG combined out of my civic.
When gas is under about $3.50/gal, no one cares. When it hits $4/gal, people go apeshit.
