I enjoy watching America the Horror Story. It’s always live on TV no matter what.

Considering there is a national forest across the street, this is very likely the case.

Promise not to. I don’t even have time to go unibomber

Trust me, my wife and I have given that scenario very serious thought. Taxes on the cabin are $700 for the year, taxes on our home are $5000 for the year. Cabin is winning more and more.

As much as I want to disagree, our cabin is across the street from a national forest...

“I don’t vote, that way I am not responsible for any of the dumpster fires that happen during the next 4 years “ - Rough quote of George Carlin

Damn you, that is a perfect response, I have nothing. Golf clap.

I vote to live away from politics. That would be so amazing.

Also I’m not your buddy, pal.

As a power train engineer, I made it through half of his speech before I could feel brain cells disappearing. FFS I’m going to my cabin in the woods, I’ll be back around Janurary 2021.

Because you’re testing is useless when you don’t know the proper procedures, whereas I do since I have done that testing. Best of luck with the dealer lol

Literally every mechanic(a couple MOPAR certified) I’ve talked to about the results I’m getting during my testing has said ‘I’m not surprised.’ so...

I know you haven’t described anything, that’s why I’ma waiting for you to show what you know about OEM testing. You’re mixing up the EPA fuel economy testing and manually calculating the MPG readout. Kia lied about their coast down numbers, so the dyno inputs were not representative of the actual vehicle being

That’s not the procedure FCA uses for manually calculating mpg. I know this because I was responsible for powertrain calibration development on diesel Grand Cherokee while working there and one task on our DVP&R is digital read out vs manual fuel economy calculation. So what is this “flawed” method that FCA uses,

No specifics? Such as refueling and when the pump shuts off waiting for X number of seconds before pulling the handle on the pump again? Then repeating this Y number of times?

2018 Compass - so again, what engine, transmission, axle ratio, trim level, 4x4 or 4x2?

What procedure do OEMs typically use to calculate MPG?

Counter argument, I have cleaned our Jeep out more than once using a power washer, but we also replaced the floorliner with bedliner.

I made 1 mistake, it’s not an SAE refueling procedure it’s a Code of Federal Regulations procedure. This is what OEMs typically use when manually calculating MPG.
