Weight limits are one factor, We allow much much heavier trucks on our roads than all surrounding states. Another is how we are overly dependent on salt during winter instead of using sand or even a mixture of the 2. Salt melts the snow into water, water gets into expansion cracks of the road, eventually freezes again

Hell in Michigan we build roads with concrete and even those don’t last.

And you win. Damn that’s perfect.

Have you seen the interview with Rex Tillerson after he quit being Secretary of State? If not, one quote I loved with Rex saying how he “constantly had to remind the president that you’re not allowed to do that, it’s illegal”

#1 two stroke dirt bike smoke.

Just tell him that the automakers are going to follow his new emission standards, so he can stop being involved with them and he can focus on creating the next dumpster fire

When I worked at Chrysler, one of my good friends in our group had a photographer get a photo of the 8 speed transmission shifter in a prototype 300 car. Literally it was just the shifter screwed to the center console as this was a mule vehicle. When that picture ended up online he was told if it happens again, he’s

Wouldn’t matter, they’d still view it as “design intent”. It’s supposed to be the engineers “responsibility” to keep photographers from capturing photos.

On the flip side when you work in engineering and you’re trying to calibrate, do any form development work on a test mule or pre development camo car, if someone gets pics of the interior when they’re not supposed, and those pictures end up online, the engineer driving the car can very easily be fired for it.

And the winner was presented with a scantily clad woman across a beautiful vehicle.

If maintenance is a concern, might I suggest looking into the Mopar MaxCare warranty coverage. I bought it with my 2018 Ram 1500 last year, and it’s bumper to bumper (the same as the initial 3 year/36k miles warranty) for as long as you own the vehicle. Cost me $3300, and it covers everything that is not a wear item

Feel like I saw this before....

I for one prefer the non “copy and paste” letter the manager wrote. At least it’s honest and they at least took the time to put it together. Bit blunt, but I’m the type that prefers the direct message

Any of you who were into tuner cars circa 2001 might remember that before “cars and coffee” was a thing, it was “Mountain Dew and mall parking lots.”

I mean if you really want to get into the physics of it all, a darker colored car is faster than a bright colored car, because the darker paint absorbs more heat. As air passes over the car, the heat given off from the vehicle makes the air thinner, therefore less aerodynamic drag is created.

It’s an analogy.....

It is a cop out though. Saying that stop/start is responsible for your low fuel mileage because it’s “basically” the only difference from your previously owned vehicle is like saying my new car is blue and gets worse mileage than my red car, so the blue paint makes it consume more fuel.....

Zero, just doesn’t like that the radio “switches from alternator to battery and back to alternator”

You’re confusing “fact” with “opinion”. So let’s just get to it, what Jeep did you have before and what do you have now, model year, engine, trans of each?

So same axle ratio, curb weight, aerodynamics, tires, engine. everything is the same besides the start/stop and the transmission?
