Meanwhile Kinja will continue its inscrutible cross-site policy of rewarding obvious trolls while making decent people who want to contribute stay grey indefinitely.

As a Christian myself, I can honestly say that if your faith is so fragile that a comic adventure wherein the main characters are focused on saving mankind from annihilation offends you on a spiritual level, then you need to seriously take a look at yourself.

Hate to say it, but D&D made the right decision and maintained a holistic vision for the show’s ending. Excellent direction would have been jarring alongside piddle-poor writing.

I mean, she had the biggest stand-up special of last year so I really feel this on you for not knowing her.

It’s like Scorsese, without the Scorsese

She’s right tho.

You’d think one of her psychic friends could have told her how that sort of comment would go over...

Nevada used to the be place to go if you wanted a divorce but didn’t have (or didn’t want to manufacture) the necessary grounds in your home state. I wish it weren’t coming to this, but now Nevada can be the place to go to get an abortion if you don’t have, or can’t afford to purchase, the necessary qualifications at

Hey, let’s hire the stunning and talented Keri Russell but hide her face behind a ridiculous giant mask.

It’s been really been incredible how Game of Thrones has suddenly made skilled and experienced leaders and tacticians in fantasy medieval warfare seem to suddenly forget their previous experience and skills

The Ninja Fleet and Mystic Ballistas are now part of my head canon for this show. Slipping in and out of the shadow dimension is why the Big Boat has two giant, seemingly pointless sails on the sides—they were woven by shadowbinders from Asshai and enable the Ninja Fleet to travel between the real world and the shadow

This right here is the real reason. Yes, Dany’s (and Jon’s) tactics were/are awful, but the biggest threat they’re facing is a writing crew that have been backed into a wall and have very little show left. Nerfing the dragons makes a complicated problem (how is Cersei a threat if Dany has 2 almost-invincible dragons?)

If this were the books it’d make perfect sense for Dany to torch the Iron Fleet then and there since it’s made explicitly that outside of literally chaining one to the ground or having one of your own it’s very hard to kill a dragon.

I...I might be with you, mate. As much as I hate to feel this way. My only hope is that Martin lives long enough to tie all of his disparate story threads together in the next 2 books. And then hopefully the inevitable reboot after he finishes gets it right.

“Someone has got to come up with a solution.”

Somewhere out there is a cop who is going to get all butthurt and offended when he sees one of these things, and is going to drag the driver out of the car for a #notallcops lecture.

She’s definitely committed to that cut, I think the women who serve her have also been forced to get the same style.

“...can offer the workers of this country a homeland, their birthright...”

No, just forgive it. The colleges are so predatory and the costs so inflated and ridiculous, just forgive the people who got taken for a ride and maybe we can get some regulation on these college tuition costs.

People who couch it as “free stuff” are peak disingenuous and intellectually lazy.
