It still happens in modern games, yeah. The big one I think of is the secret room in Arkham Asylum.

They have to stop with this, otherwise I am going to have to buy a 3DS for this game alone.

Good lord, how bad is the pollution on these islands?

Sorry, I’m a Misty supporter.

Same thing with getting candy by walking. I could take all year to get enough candy from my Squirtle to get a Blastoise but it would still help if I could get one single Squirtle in the wild so I don’t have to settle for my CP 15 one.

*shrug* It gets me out of the house and exercising. Plus gives me stuff to do for a few minutes between classes, since there is a cluster of gyms and pokestops on my campus.

It’s a neat idea, but rather than helping me catch the rare Pokemon I’d rather they help me find rare Pokemon. It’s all well and good that the next Charmander I find is easier to catch, but if all I ever see are Pidgeys and Ratattas, it’s not super helpful.

Well, you can always rejoice in the fact that the majority of “gamers” probably don’t argue about this kind of crap online. They just play games.

Because these aren’t species of animals. These are designed by people. Some pokemon are specifically designed with human female characteristics. Lopunny was designed after a playboy bunny, jynx an opera diva etc.

I won’t be choosing Popplio, but that’s only because I believe I’ll have a kickass water Pokemon with the Ash-Greninja anyway.

This is the kind of thing where updating older games would have increased my interest tremendously. Give me Fallout 4 or the new skyrim update with head tracking VR and a dual shock and I’d buy one. I’m not gonna spend that money on a few minigames at this point though.

except that new ghostbusters bombed in the box office last I remembered.

In my view that makes your article about it 90% less interesting. So you like being self-indulgent, but you can’t appreciate that from a game, and then you want to write about it. Ok, cool, or whatever. I thought it was a game that tried to be special in its own way, and succeeded about 90%. The journey was

90% of it? Wow, I don’t agree at all. And I find that view very surprising on the end of an ostensibly praise-filled revisitation. If the graphics are the only part of the game you connected with, I think there's a lot that flew over your head.

That’s weird that you only think 10% of the game is worth keeping. So, just the aesthetic? You want Mario Paint: Okami?

Now imagine being an employee who just, a year before, moved halfway across the country to work on that game... yeah, I’m a little bitter.

Pokemon Go’s success is entirely based on the fact that it’s Pokemon, AR has nothing to do with it. I know people that play the game, but don’t do any of the AR stuff, they don’t take over gyms, they don’t care about the metagame, they’re just trying to get all the Pokemon. It’s a way to have Pokemon on your phone

Not sure if they settled on one but as far as E3 and the trailer that wasn’t even in-engine as they haven’t even picked on yet. This game is going to be king of the announced to way too early club. If you though the 7 years of MGSV was bad this will probably be worse. As much as I love Kojima and his games I really

It’s good they are keeping tight lipped. Don’t want this game getting overhyped to hell.

From the sound of what he said, the game barely exists it seems. They “finally got the office” and the idea all down, and now they’re working on the game for real. So... I’m not sure when we can expect to ever see this if it is something substantial.
