Pokemon as a general concept feels like a house of cards that you shouldn’t mess around with lest the whole thing collapse in on itself. Let’s not forget that your relationships with your Pokemon are founded on an institutionalised system of kidnapping and enslavement; no Pokemon chooses to go with you or fight in

Are Finn’s hearts little crystal hearts? I do like the attention to detail in this game.

I’m not dismissing either creative choice, but isn’t black Harvey Dent a pretty deliberate throwback to Tim Burton’s Batman films? Just like the Batgirl outfit bears a striking resemblance to the 1966 edition? Is there a precedent for Latino Jin Gordon in the same way? Not that it really matters.

Is Jim Gordon mixed-race in this film, or just kind of tanned? Because if it’s the former it’s a pretty bold move.

Part of me suspects the Robin in this film is meant to look like Carrie Kelley as another little nod to the comics’ past.

Because he was already released as a SDCC exclusive in 2014.

In past boxes there’s a certain number of each minifigure in each box. So yes, you are guaranteed a full set; I guess you’ve just got to decide if all the duplicates are worth it.

If you want really bad journalism you should see the article Kotaku posted on the latest Minecraft update.

Apparently it’s a PC game, which seems like a weird choice to make.

Oh, well that’s alright then.

The longer lock-on will make a big difference. Looking forward to this!

Oh yeah, early Wii models play Gamecube games flawlessly as far as I’m aware. You can also take advantage of the Wii component connection- original Gamecube component connection cables are like hen’s teeth. Or do Gamecubes and Wiis use the same cables anyway?

As long as that’s all you’re violating...

I think the fact it’s possible to paint yourself into a corner with XII (a fact the game itself acknowledges) is staggeringly bad design. I don’t seem to be able to rise that far above Kingdom Hearts when it comes to RPGs nowadays.

I’m playing Ace Attorney Investigations; it’s pretty interesting to play as Edgeworth for a change, even if most of the mechanics are basically the same as the Phoenix Wright titles.

Nice list, though I would offer a few caveats, and one addition;

You extrapolated an entire medium’s quality from one superhero comic series and a tie in for a video game. Not exactly bastions of narrative excellence, or a wide sample size. Plus, at no point did I argue that my opinion was the only one that counts; Maus and March didn’t get their acclaim by my almighty hand alone,

It’s not hipsterish to point out that the medium of comics goes way beyond superheroes. To be honest, you sound incredibly blinkered and narrow-minded; you cited Civil War- one comic book series- as evidence an entire medium was worthless, a day after this happened. Several years after Maus won the Pulitzer prize.

That you cite Marvel, DC and Dark Horse as your main sources for comics says far more about you than it does the medium.

Ah, back when Valve made stuff. Those were the days.
