Part of me suspects the Robin in this film is meant to look like Carrie Kelley as another little nod to the comics’ past.

In past boxes there’s a certain number of each minifigure in each box. So yes, you are guaranteed a full set; I guess you’ve just got to decide if all the duplicates are worth it.

I think the fact it’s possible to paint yourself into a corner with XII (a fact the game itself acknowledges) is staggeringly bad design. I don’t seem to be able to rise that far above Kingdom Hearts when it comes to RPGs nowadays.

It’s not hipsterish to point out that the medium of comics goes way beyond superheroes. To be honest, you sound incredibly blinkered and narrow-minded; you cited Civil War- one comic book series- as evidence an entire medium was worthless, a day after this happened. Several years after Maus won the Pulitzer prize.

That you cite Marvel, DC and Dark Horse as your main sources for comics says far more about you than it does the medium.
