I’m with you. I will add that the Super Mario series is something I’ve enjoyed for almost my entire life. At the same time, I honestly couldn’t give less of a shit who voices Mario in a movie, and I have zero interest in seeing said movie.

This is why I’m glad Bill Watterson was so against merchandising and TV/movie rights for Calvin and Hobbes.
