I’m an old who played the original SNES games at launch. IV is and shall always be my favorite game ever, and I own the original cart, along with the PS1, GBA, and DS versions. I’m just saying this to qualify my answer.
I’m curious as to how much people would pay if Nintendo did something right for a change and went all-in on a retro console. Something like the NES Classic, but loaded with every game Nintendo owns and could properly emulate and license. So, NES ->N64, maybe even make a “handheld edition” for GB and GBA.
Semi-related, but finally jumping over the flagpole was a very exciting moment. I didn’t know it was possible!
