You’re overlooking a key point here:

White people are afraid of relinquishing power because they’re afraid that the other races would treat white people like white people treated them if given the opportunity.

War crimes are violations of the customary laws of war. They’re not determined by the “winner”. It’s something governed by treaty. If you’re serving in the armed forces and you commit a war crime, good luck arguing that at your court martial.

1. You continue to look through the lens of 2021. I seriously suggest you do some insight into the Pacific War. It was a completely different animal than any war ever waged in modern times. I suggest a podcast from Dan Carlin called “Supernova in the East”. It’s really long, but it’s worth it.

You’re insulting the memories of all the people who were killed by the allies in what today would be considered serious war crimes.

DO NOT “but both sides” World War II. That is insulting to the people that fought against pure barbarism.

You realize that the allies dropped a lot more than two bombs, right?

Um, the Native peoples of Canada, Mexico, and the United States would like to have a word.

Wrong war. That was a generation later.

EVERY one murdered is one too many.

It is an objective fact that there was nobody more cruel than Japan (save the Germans). To suggest otherwise is an insult to the 10,000,000+ civilians and POWs the Japanese murdered.

Who dropped those bombs, slaughtering millions..?

Are you really trying to WHATABOUT the atrocities committed by the Empire of Japan between 1937-1945?

Let’s not forget that Grosse Pointe Park is the city that tried to eliminate all street connections with Detroit, including building a literal physical barrier at the “new end” of Kercheval (GPP’s Main Street).

That’s true.

IMO, 13 suffered from a poorly-explained, over convoluted backstory and some super annoying characters (looking at you, Hope and Vanille). But the soundtrack was tight. If (when) it gets rereleased on the Switch, I’d give it a second chance.
