GM doesn't have a good N/A 4 cylinder and it'll cost more to develop one instead of using the good motor that they already have.

The turbo engine isn't even that expensive. The only thing a N/A engine will do is make the car slow off the line and torqueless like the BRZ.

The 2.0L turbo GM has is a great engine. If you're referring to the Camaro, that's because they took an already heavy car to begin with and made it into a coupe. Most cars they've designed from the ground up (old-style Camaro, Cadillac ATS, Cobalt SS) were pretty light cars.
