Dem lips.

The number changes every day.

Mine blew out in the middle of a 4 lane highway and took 5 minutes before the thing finally restarted.

I don't think so. They were all made in Ohio using the same machines tooled to the same QC specs. The ECOTEC is a legitimately good engine across the board. The same can be said for GM's automatic transmission. As for the negativity, the body panels and interior bits are kind of cheaply put together (but cheap to

Trust me, they are not. The MK6 GTI is better now but that car didn't exist in 2007. I have almost 100k on the SS and all I have done is factory recommended maintenance. I drive it hard every day. It's been a great car and I plan to keep it for another 7 years. There isn't even any rust after 7 upstate winters. The

Yes, we know this already. What I'm saying is that back in 2007's market, there were few offerings in the 20k sport compact market: cars like the Civic Si, VW GTI, Scion Tc, and the SS Supercharged. The 07 GTI wasn't as refined as it is now, nor was it as quick. The Scion was awful in every aspect (although the

Best new car for 20k in 2007. Thats around what I paid for it.

My thoughts exactly.

I don't buy used cars. My 2007 SS Supercharged had an MSRP of $24,095 when I bought it in June of that model year. Not that I paid sticker for it, but that MSRP equates to around $27,000 and change in today's dollars. Add sales tax, and that brings you close to 30 grand. A fully loaded or diesel Cruze will also be

$500 off a car that's going to cost at LEAST $30,000 is an absolute insult to my checking account.

General Motors is sliding towards becoming the next Bernie Madoff of the automotive industry.

Heard the Cessna had ignition switch failure and that's why this happened.

Junk cars are junk.

Lol they're raising the prices because it's selling better than expected. Gotta recoup the losses from those pickem up trucks somewhere.

I am guilty of none of these.

Of course it's from upstate NY

The 2000's Monte Carlo SS was a really cool car when it was new. I remember them being quite expensive though, and if you're going to spend that kind of money, the Camaro would have been a better choice.

The Cruze isn't that great, and the consumer reviews clearly reflect that. The Impala is a great new car for GM, but again, the question is with long-term reliability. It hasn't been out long enough to really gauge how well built it is. My guess is that it falls apart after 3 years.

The Camaro was a Pony/Muscle Car. It was designed for stoplight drag races and doing burnouts. So much fun for not a whole lot of money. Once that was taken away, what did we have to buy aside from the Corvette? The GTO was overpriced. The Cobalt SS Supercharged was marketed as the "feel good pill for the Camaro

I hate this company more and more every day.
