Or the homophobia.
Or the homophobia.
"Look What Happened" is an incredibly good song.
Best bit Norm MacDonald ever did was this on Weekend Update:
Pacific Rim?
Drugs.
Definitely generational. I can remember watching this in syndication daily around 1976-1979, and I don't know anyone that wasn't a kid at that time that's heard of it. Same thing with Ultraman - that was the only show that I cared about every Saturday morning, but I just get blank stares when I mention it now.
That's two things that I can do in less than a minute!
I thought it was a pretty average movie, and waaaay too long, like most 2.5 hour films. You may watch it and love it, but it's not for everybody.
If you watched Night Court, then all of those other shows, you'd understand.
Partly due to marketing costs (no one will see a film that they haven't heard of) and partly due to film buyers for theater chains. If no chain wants to put it on a few hundred or thousand screens, it's probably not worth trying to distribute it theatrically.
"A towel, it says, is about the most massively useful thing an interstellar hitchhiker can have."
But then who plays the 50-something Spaniard? Gilbert Gottifiried?
John Kerry?
Speaking of that, I'm going to a Walking Dead trivia contest tonight. Can someone sum up all of the trivia in a couple of sentences for me? thx
Oh come on; this movie is screaming out for Memories or Only a Memory.
Like a zed-word apocalypse?
Go fuck myself because I use logic? Ease up on the caffeine. I guess I should have said, "more interesting films", but on the whole, most films released lately are uninteresting, so I do stay out of the theater.
We're reading about a reboot of Charmed, and you think that something being a terrible idea will stop them?
Since Party of Five was mentioned, maybe they could combine the reboot of that with another popular TV show, and call it Party of Five-0. Just send me a check whenever, CBS.
But he'll look like a skier.
