I am a big fan of the show and still watch the entire series every year or two, but that finale isn't great. However, "I got off the plane" is one of the all-time great TV lines. And you're right - there's no way they live happily ever after together, but it's a nice way for the show to end.

If you thought that the LOST finale attempted any sort of religious conversion, then you completely missed the point.

"I don't read novels. I prefer good literary criticism. That way you get both the novelists' ideas as well as the critics' thinking. With fiction I can never forget that none of it really happened, that it's all just made up by the author."

@deliciousmalk:disqus I find your stance disgusting. The fact that I can't keep more of the money that I earned through quite a bit of hard work because someone else wants it is uncivilized. I'm all for defense and courts and roads, etc… but people demanding that the government take my money by force because they

@avclub-96f15daceb6669363fbf7f762ed57703:disqus I initially was going to ignore your troll post, but damn my curiosity: What prejudices do you have about libertarians that you would dismiss everything that a libertarian has to say?

@avclub-b32768df2cfff3a5ab1a78d093711e2c:disqus And I was pointing out how both sides are playing against each other. Reid is just as big a dick as any Republican for not allowing any compromise.

@deliciousmalk:disqus  "…that is no way to cover the millions that don't have health insurance." Why do they need to be covered at my expense?

@avclub-eac75edc18b8546c46893fe4b75ab995:disqus I just looked up the subsidies for a single parent household making minimum wage ($15,000 a year), and the subsidy was $0 on a $3800 health insurance premium. So again I ask, how is this bill supposed to help the poor get insurance? http://kff.org/interactive/…

@avclub-eac75edc18b8546c46893fe4b75ab995:disqus So people are working less because of this law, and get more of my tax dollars to pay for health insurance that is more expensive than ever due to increased demands on what insurance has to cover? Who thought this law was a good idea again?

I'm a huge football fan, but the team I support is in London (Arsenal). I wake up early every weekend to watch their games (and usually four or five other English games), and I sometimes travel to watch them. I would support a local MLS team, but the closest team is a nine hour drive away. If my city got an MLS team,

The ACA is causing many big businesses to max worker's hours out at 30, thus denying people health insurance since they're not full time. And since they're not full time, they can't afford health insurance on their own. What, exactly, will help the poor get health insurance if this law stays in place?

Yeah, Reid won't allow anything except 100% funding of the ACA. The epitome of  "I get everything I want and you go fuck yourself."

I honestly don't remember much from this movie, but I kept the Laserdisc of this movie for years so that I could show people the special feature about letter-boxing. It was excellent at showing people who thought that "the black bars are annoying" that no, in fact, the black bars are a good thing because you get to

Liked for Let it Ride. Underrated gem.

Breaking Bad filled up TV's quota for a while, so no deaths on GoT next season. Enjoy!

I think he might still be on ABQ PD's radar since he was caught throwing away millions of dollars.

Maybe car washes. He really liked saying, "Have an A-1 Day!"

It's not so much a happy ending for him as a moment of triumph. He got to kill Todd, who brutally tortured him for months. He knows Mr. White is about to die and he stood up to Mr. White by telling him he wouldn't do what he wanted any longer. And he escaped the prison he's been in. Yeah, he has serious problems, and

Yeah, "Dextered" is best. Seconded?

Lumberjacked us off?
