Everytime I see it, I can't help but think it's also kind of brave. There are many, many times in my life where I wish I was able to just tell someone how their words affected me like that.

Personally, I always liked that "I hated the way you talked to me just now" line. Tom isn't as smart as her but I always thought his character was more emotionally honest and I felt that line rang true as something he might say.
"Six stars"- AJ Gibbs.
Also, fuck you AV Club you better keep covering this show or at least give us a space to talk about it. This show is too important to sweep away after 2 years that were not only amazing, but really hit at a rough time in my life.
Fuck Sam and Diane. It's all about Jimmy and Gretchen.
I love horror. Favourite genre. Action too. Close 3rd. That opening 12 minutes? Fuck contention. Best and most hilarious action of 2016. Good luck to any action based show topping that. Wholly unique and just fucking funny. My 54 year old Momma loved it. We laughed together. Fucking epic payoff to some slower episodes.
America must really be the land of living the dream then. I may only be 28, but I have seen grown ass 40 year old people do these jobs as careers my whole life. Obviously they aren't particularly thrilled with it, but sometimes the choices you make can only get you so far.
I…I can't describe how badly I want to see this.
The director and cast are certainly making me rethink my stance of Oh Fuck This Garbage Fire of a Cash Grab.
This motherfucker has fire and god damn it is good to see this news. The way he got nothing after Captain Phillips was total horseshit.
I think the way Kanye can't stop talking about Kanye is extremely boring at this point.
I think In the Loop makes a nice double feature with Strangelove.
He's saying we are sick of his schtick and he isn't even making very good stuff anymore.
I really like the cast and the creative team behind this, very bummed to see this initial reaction. I am still going to give it a shot and since it has way less stakes and pressure than a huge project like Vinyl had, I am hoping they feel their way through the bumps and this can end up being a gem. A C+ doesnt't…
Seriously it is so strange. The first season was so well received here, the reviewer even ended it by saying how much they looked forward to more of the show.
After a flirtatious 10 week span of season 1 reviews, I wish Av Club would commit too and get some season 2 reviews out for us to discuss!
The thing is? That show would cause a earthquake from all the pure male nerd pleasure to come from it. I literally came twice reading the description.
But thankfully it ended on a high note that even more sends a fuck you to shows who don't know when it's time to call the curtain.
I have a long, more emotional post to be made about all of this, but right now? I just want to say, Jonathan Nolan? You wonderful guy? Get Michael Emerson on Westworld in ANY capacity. Please.
I was wondering the same thing. We have god damn Pete from Mad Men in it now, we need reviews!
