I came to say that too. I don’t know where the 400 points for $5 came from since it’s only 250 points for $5. Those points add up fast if you buy other stuff from Best Buy too. Not to mention the games that give you $10 in rewards for pre-ordering them.

It also gives you two points per dollar spent on new games, which equates to about 2.5% back. That discount (400 points can be redeemed for a $5 off coupon) can be applied storewide, not just on games.

the non-pixel characters

I disagree. THese plastic sprites are ridiculous. I’ll play the original on my Vita, thanks.

Actually, they’re horrible.

Yeah, I think the “improved” looks worse

“The sprites are gone, replaced by ugly polygonal models”

The 3D graphics are a huge negative for me. I’m still hoping the Switch Mana collection will make it to North America one day.

So... Dance Central for Switch, yeah? :v

you think chrome isn’t a memory hog?

you do know it runs every tab, as a new instance of every plugin, for every tab... in chrome? most plugins persist even after you close the tabs

Do these “best thing ever” wings come in a boneless option?

I’m not sure I agree. AFAIK the reason they DO lootboxes instead of just letting you buy whatever you want at a set price, (something every sane customer would vastly prefer) is because they make more money with lootboxes, (whales and such chasing the item they want) than they do by simply having set prices.

GOOD. THAT SHIT IS GAMBLING.

Longtime WoW player here — from alpha to 2012, then from 2016 - 2017. Blizzard never, ever, locks you out of content that existed when you last played the game, whether you go for an expansion or not. In fact, you often *gain* access to some advantages, indirectly. A few examples:

I honestly stared at the “word” a little too long wondering if it was some kind of elite acronym.

Yeah, it raises an interesting question, and I’m sure this will keep coming up with more and more “service” games in the future. But if you bought vanilla Destiny 2 on PC (which came out in late October), you had less than a month and a half with this stuff before it locked you out. That’s kinda nuts.

There will always be overly vocal naysayers and apologists on the outside ends, but it’s definitely not a 1 or 0 kind of thing for many, if not most, players. Folks were rightly outraged at the sleazy practices (that had to be uncovered by meticulous number-crunching) but still enjoy the game for its good and fun

Off topic: I love Destiny 2 but I’ve given up even trying to play the raids. I don’t even know how other people find clans? It’s a completely opaque part of the game for me.
