Gonna have to disagree. There’s a lot of people out there who like the gameplay manipulation abilities, graphical enhancements, fan translations, bypassing of region locking, etc., that emulation offers. Lots of people use the Dolphin Emulator to play their Gamecube games in Wide-screen and with enhanced graphics, for

And again, what you are complaining about is piracy, a completely separate action from emulation. Doesn’t matter how many people purist when there are still those who legally emulate the game in order to play it on better settings and use mods.

No, actually. If you go after one you don’t have to go after all of them. With trademarks, yes. Not with copyright. Copyright literally gives the owner the right to pick and choose people they allow to use their IP. Nintendo could let Pewdiepie play their games all day and ban the rest of YouTube from it.

You can’t send a take down for modding your own copy of the game. This person isn’t trying to release a new version of Breath of the Wild, which WOULD warrant a takedown request. It’s not being a shill to acknowledge that Nintendo has a right to defend their IPs from people releasing their games in a manner that might

Personally, I had a good time with Battleborn. It’s a solid shooter with a few novel ideas that was treated as little more than a punching bag. The story was decent enough and the art style is neat, but the character designs were across-the-board terrible and some of the voice acting was atrocious.

In this one

Battlestillborn more like it.

Not the same genre at all. The only similarities they have are the cartoonish look, you shoot with a gun, it’s first person and an assortment of heroes. Other than that, they are apples and oranges

Too bad their last update won’t be to include bots in all modes.

The game is a ghost town.

Incoming message from the Big Giant Head!

I don’t like that I can see the slightly transparent frame around some of the character sprites against the background. Is that reasonable, or am I being picky?

Demo’s pretty fun but basic enemies have WAY to much defense and HP for a single player experience. I do find the story compelling and Primrose is attractive but not too scantily clad like Pyra in Xenoblade 2.

Only thing worse than grammar Nazis are grammar Nazis that don’t know what they’re talking about.

As a D.Va main, Mercy is my favorite hero that I don’t play. I always _O_ to Mercys and love to protect them. Best character/hero design in the game.

You handled this much better than I would have. :D

Remove the other people from the subject, and see if it still makes sense.

I don’t really understand what about Mercy’s changes would turn people off of playing the character. Her core gameplay (gasp - res is not her primary function) has not changed - she got a different ultimate and a new ability.

Bless you. The urge to hide is part of the reason people hate on Mercy so much - they think you have to spend significant time doing nothing. They don’t realize that there is a lot of skill required in doing your job while still staying alive for Rez, because they don’t even try to do that!

The OTP thing with Mercys (also known as “Mercy main, BTW” in streamer-speak) isn’t that Mercys can’t play other heroes- if you can play Mercy, you can play Lucio, Winston, DVa, too- it’s that Mercy mains rise too high, and they can’t play anyone but Mercy at the level of play required.

Listening right now... As a Mercy main, I always chuckled at the one-trick pony bit. Mercy takes a lot of situational awareness and I’m interested to hear your thoughts on the matter. I’m miffed by the changes - not against tweaking her, but this makes her an entirely different hero & has turned me off of playing not

The problem with this is that unlike a meal, where you make an item to be consumed at a specific time and place by a specific person or group of people, video games (especially internationally released online games like Splatoon) are enjoyed by many people, in many places, who have many different availabilities
