Although I love Star Wars, and I can dig on the prospect that Han Solo is fluent in the Wookie language, and that most of the other characters can at least get the gist of what he’s saying in much the way someone who grew up in Miami or even just watching Sesame Street might understand a lot of Spanish even if they

Some Wookies speak Basic, and many understand it. But yeah. It’s a good question. I’d guess the main reason/the reason most Wookiees don’t learn Basic or something else like some kind of sign language, and instead rely on someone they’re with who knows Shyriiwook to translate, is that in all reality, you don’t see a

The Pokémon anime ended after 8 seasons.

So they’ve basically ignored the fans wants to see new anime from Japan ASAP in favor of going “Hollywood” and rehashing a 15+ year old property that’s a cult classic.

Whenever I murder someone with my pistol, I consider it a mercy kill. :v

Should’ve just pressed F12.

I really, really wish his game had crashed and deleted his save while he “was there in Hyrule Castle, up in the high [spires] collecting my Korok seeds...”

No back up saves still seems like the biggest drawbacks. How was that overlooked and how is there not some solution on the way? No shit they “hear” it, that’s half the complaints I hear. Who wants to risk taking there system outside, which was meant to be the main appeal based off the ads, when one spill could mean

Totilo: We at Kotaku have heard the feedback—and I’ve even worried about it myself–that the lack of cloud save and even the back-up option I can do with my 3DS [can cost people their save files if they lose their Switch]… do you guys hear that message?

You know what else people that want to voice chat on the switch will ubiquitously have? A switch

Shocker of all shockers: Reggie tows the company line and says fuck all!

And my favorite part:

Only real disappointment is the Saving Backup. I’m hoping they can develop something for that.

Using an app on your phone for social functions on another console is a fucking joke.

Can someone describe the odor of said event?

I’ll probably just use Hangouts or Discord.

Yeah, I think All-Stars would’ve been a more apt comparison than Mario World. That said, I would hands-down prefer All-Stars on the Switch to ported versions of the original SMB1-3.

I grew up in the NES era, but I hold no love for the games from that era. The games on there that are still playable I much prefer their SNES remakes (such as Mario All-Stars) over the originals.

Your argument is valid, but I would caution that Super Mario World is NOT just an “upgraded” Super Mario Bros. 3 any more than Super Mario Galaxy is an “upgraded” Super Mario Sunshine.

I certainly won’t be the first one to underestimate the power of Nostalgia, but honestly, by this point... after the Wii, 3DS, AND Wii U’s Virtual Consoles, not to mention the NES Classic (which, admittedly, is relatively rare), just how many people want to play these NES games anymore??

What I don’t get is why the Switch isn’t capable of doing voice chat on its own? The Wii U and 3DS were both capable of it, heck even the DS had built in voice chat. Why the need for a separate phone app?
